L’Algérie a envoyé ce lundi une aide humanitaire constituée de 108 tonnes de nourriture et 400.000 doses de vaccin anti-Covid-19, par étapes, vers le Mali et ce, dans le cadre de la solidarité de l’Algérie avec les pays voisins, indique un communiqué du ministère de la Défense nationale (MDN).
L’opération d’expédition et de transport de cette aide humanitaire s’est faite à la base aérienne de Boufarik (1ère Région militaire) à bord d’avions cargo militaires de l’armée de l’air algérienne en direction de l’aéroport de Bamako au Mali.
Il s’agit de la première phase de cette aide humanitaire, don du Croissant rouge algérien au Croissant rouge malien, qui a vu l’envoi de 23 tonnes de nourriture et 300.000 doses de vaccin anti-Covid-19.
Cet élan de solidarité vise à « renforcer les liens d’amitié et de coopération entre les deux peuples frère algérien et malien », précise le communiqué du MDN.
