Le Directeur des Infrastructures et des équipements au ministère de l’Education nationale, Abdelkrim Dib a révélé, à l’Agence officielle (APS) que le secteur réceptionnera 473 nouveaux établissements scolaires avec la prochaine rentrée scolaire, dont 303 écoles primaires, 73 lycées et 97 CEM.
Il a ajouté que les réunions de la Commission ministérielle conjointe ont abouti, au terme de deux rencontres pendant les deux mois écoulés, à la création de 265 établissement sur un total de 473 prévus, dont 158 établissements primaires, 62 CEM et 45 lycées, portant ainsi le nombre global actuel des infrastructures de base des établissements scolaires à 28.396 établissements, dont 19.955 écoles primaires, 5.822 CEM et 2.599 lycées prêts à accueillir les élèves avec cette nouvelle rentrée scolaire.
Concernant les structures d’appui, un total de 587 cantines et 2 pensionnats devront être réceptionnés dans le cycle primaire, tandis que le cycle moyen devra bénéficier de 45.000 demi-pensionnats et 6 nouveaux pensionnats. L’enseignement secondaire à travers le territoire national devra être doté de 39 demi-pensionnats et 7 pensionnats.
Après avoir souligné que le secteur de l’Education nationale comptait actuellement 15.490 cantines, A. Dib fait savoir que le système éducatif devra être renforcé progressivement à la fin de l’année en cours après la réception continue des cantines. Le ministère accorde une importance majeure à la restauration dans les cantines, qui constitue a-t-il dit, « une activité sociale complétant l’action pédagogique ».
Il a affirmé, en outre, que des instructions « fermes » avaient été données afin de veiller à l’ouverture des cantines et de pensionnats et demi-pensionnats dans les établissements éducatifs concernés à partir du premier jour de la rentrée scolaire avec l’accès aux repas chauds et le respect des mesures préventives énoncées par le protocole sanitaire.
Evoquant les projets spécifiques aux zones d’ombre, M. Dib a affirmé que l’enregistrement de projets dans ces zones « est soumis à une carte scolaire spécifique », relevant, à cette occasion, l’existence « d’un manque » d’établissements éducatifs dans ces régions « qui a été recensé par le ministère de l’Intérieur. Le dossier se trouve actuellement au niveau des services du ministère des Finances afin de consacrer l’enveloppe financière nécessaire requise pour la construction de nouveaux établissements et l’élargissement des classes en vue de réduire la pression ».
A Alger, le secteur devra réceptionner, lors de la nouvelle rentrée scolaire, un total de 49 établissements éducatifs, dont 10 lycées, 13 collèges et 26 complexes scolaires.
