La nouvelle loi relative à l’investissement permettra à de grands constructeurs automobiles de s’installer en Algérie avec « un taux d’intégration important », a affirmé, ce dimanche, le ministre de l’Industrie, Ahmed Zeghdar.
Le ministre s’exprimait en marge d’une journée d’information consacrée au lancement effectif du régime d’importation des chaînes de production rénovées et du régime d’exemption de droits de douane et de la taxe sur la valeur ajoutée, les composants et matières premières, importés ou acquis localement par les sous-traitants, dans le cadre de leurs activités.
« Des contacts s’étaient établis avec de nombreux grands constructeurs automobiles, mais le système juridique alors était absent », a relevé Zeghdar, soulignant qu’avec la promulgation de la nouvelle loi relative à l’investissement, de grandes firmes viendront s’installer pour la fabrication des voitures, des tracteurs et des bus avec des taux d’intégration importants.
Le projet de la nouvelle loi sur l’investissement a été adopté jeudi lors d’une réunion spéciale du Conseil des ministres, présidée par le président de la République, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, consacrée à l’examen et au débat de la nouvelle mouture du texte.
Abordant le nouveau régime d’importation des chaînes de production rénovées et le régime d’exemption de droits de douane et de la taxe sur la valeur ajoutée, les composants et matières premières, importés ou acquis localement par les sous-traitants, dans le cadre de leurs activités, le ministre a appelé les investisseurs et les industriels à saisir « cette opportunité », affirmant que toutes les conditions étaient réunies dans ce domaine grâce à ces deux nouveaux régimes.
« L’Etat assurera son rôle de contrôle dans le cadre de ces deux régimes, et ce, à travers les laboratoires agréés à l’image de l’Organisme algérien d’accréditation (Algerac) », a-t-il assuré.
Zeghdar a invité les opérateurs ayant déposé des dossiers à les actualiser à la nouvelle législation.
