Le groupe Sonatrach a signé ce jeudi à Tripoli un protocole d’accord avec la National oil corporation (Noc) en vertu duquel il reprendra ses activités en Libye, suspendues depuis 2011, date de l’éclatement de la crise dans ce pays.
Cette signature survient dans le cadre d’une visite d’une délégation importante de Sontrach en Libye.
Paraphé par le PDG du groupe, Toufik Hakkar et le président du Conseil d’administration de la Noc, Mustafa Sanalla, ce protocole d’accord vise principalement le retour de Sonatrach à l’activité en Libye, en remplissant ses obligations contractuelles dans les zones contractuelles 65 et 96/95 dans le bassin de Ghadamès.
« Notre objectif est de reprendre l’activité rapidement et de commencer à développer les champs découverts », a déclaré Hakkar lors de la cérémonie de signature.
« A travers cet accord, nous voulons définir une vision future pour préparer des plans de développement des champs découverts dans les deux zones à Ghadamès », a-t-il ajouté.
Cet accord permettra également de renforcer la coopération dans les domaines de la réalisation de projets pétroliers et gaziers, ainsi que des services et de la formation.
Lors de cette visite à Tripoli, le PDG de Sonatrach est accompagné par les directeurs généraux des sociétés filiales spécialisées dans la géophysique, les travaux de forage, les grands travaux pétroliers, les services aux puits, le transport par canalisations, le génie civil et la construction.
A cette occasion, Hakkar a présenté aux responsables de la Noc un aperçu sur le groupe Sonatrach et les capacités de ses filiales dans le domaine des services pétroliers mettant en exergue « leur compétence et leur savoir-faire avéré ».
Dans ce cadre, il a souligné la disponibilité des Algériens à développer des programmes jumelés avec les filiales de la Noc et à créer des sociétés conjointes dans la recherche et l’exploration, les travaux de forage, la réhabilitation et la maintenance des installations, la formation, ainsi que le génie civil et la construction.
De son côté, après avoir donné un aperçu sur l’activité pétrolière dans son pays, M. Sanalla a salué la décision de Sonatrach de reprendre l’activité en Libye en tant que partenaire « important » dans le domaine de l’énergie et a assuré de sa ferme volonté d’accompagner les filiales algériennes sur le marché des services pétroliers en Libye.
Les deux parties ayant convenu de préparer des programmes de partenariat dans divers domaines tels que la géophysique, la géologie, le forage, le soudage et l’inspection.
