La ministre tunisienne de l’Industrie, de l’Energie et des Mines, Mme Neila Nouira Gongi, a exprimé mercredi le souhait de voir les volumes de gaz algérien exportés vers son pays augmenter, pour mieux alimenter les villes frontalières tunisiennes en GN, a indiqué ce mercredi un communiqué du ministère de l’Energie et des Mines.
Mme Gongi s’exprimait lors d’une rencontre, tenue mercredi, par visioconférence, avec le ministre de l’Energie et des mines, Mohamed Arkab, lors de laquelle les deux parties ont notamment examiné les opportunités de coopération futures, souligne le document.
« Concernant l’approvisionnement de la Tunisie en gaz naturel, la ministre tunisienne a exprimé le souhait de voir l’augmentation des volumes de gaz exportés vers son pays », indique le communiqué.
Elle a, à cet effet, suggéré l’actualisation des études en vue d’alimenter les villes frontalières à l’exemple de l’alimentation, en 2019, de la ville historique de Sakiet Sidi Youcef à partir du réseau gaz algérien, et qui a constitué une première étape dans la concrétisation du projet d’approvisionnement des villes frontalières tunisiennes en gaz naturel.
De plus, la possibilité d’approvisionnement de la Tunisie en hydrocarbures (pétrole brut et GNL) et en produits pétroliers (GPL, gaz butane), a été également examinée lors de cette rencontre, ajoute la même source.
