L’entreprise Cosider Agrico, filière du groupe public Cosider, a réceptionné une nouvelle ferme aquacole au niveau d’un bassin d’irrigation agricole dans la wilaya de Djelfa ayant une capacité de production annuelle de 60 tonnes de poissons de l’espèce Tilapia rouge, apprend l’APS jeudi auprès de la société chargée de la réalisation ce projet.
Selon Abd Nacer Bahira, gérant de la société Martece, spécialisée dans la réalisation des cages flottantes et des produits d’aquaculture, cette ferme aquacole réalisée pour le compte de Cosider Agrico pour un montant de 37 millions DA aura une capacité de production annuelle de 60 tonnes de Tilapia rouge, « un poisson connu pour ces vertus nutritives et sa richesse en Oméga 3 ainsi qu’en vitamines B et D ».
S’exprimant à l’occasion d’une journée de sensibilisation sur les vertus des poissons aquacoles organisée à l’intention des écoliers au niveau des Sablettes (Alger), M. Bahira a fait savoir que dix cages flottantes ont été installés dans un étang d’irrigation agricole dans la wilaya de Djelfa.
Le responsable de Martece a expliqué que l’eau de cette étang est destinée pour l’irrigation des céréales ainsi que pour l’arrosage d’une plante fourragère appelée « luzerne », cultivée comme plantes fourragères pour l’alimentation de bétail.
Dans le cadre de ce projet de ferme aquacole, la société Martece a intégré un système de réchauffement et d’injection automatique d’oxygène au niveau des cages permettant d’assurer l’élevage et production même durant la période hivernale.
Selon M. Bahira, l’exploitation des bassins d’irrigation pour l’élevage des poissons permet la fertilisation naturelle des cultures.
