Le ministre des Affaires étrangères et de la Communauté nationale à l’étranger, Ramtane Lamamra a appelé samedi à davantage d’investissements turcs en Algérie, tout en exprimant la satisfaction des deux pays quant au rythme de leur partenariat.
A l’issue de sa rencontre avec son homologue turc Mevlut Cavusoglu, qui effectue une visite de deux jours en Algérie, M. Ramtane Lamamra a déclaré « nous avons exprimé notre satisfaction de la vision ambitieuse du partenariat algéro-turc, au moment où nous estimons qu’il est nécessaire de réaliser davantage d’investissements turcs, au vu des potentialités de l’économie algérienne et des réalisations de l’économie turque ».
M. Lamamra a en outre expliqué que « les nouveaux nvestissements peuvent être orientés vers les secteurs de l’agriculture, des mines et du tourisme, car la Turquie a une grande expérience dans ce domaine ».
A ce propos, le chef de la diplomatie algérienne a dit: « nous sommes parvenus à la conviction que les orientations données par les deux Présidents, MM. Abdelmadjid Tebboune et Recep Tayyip Erdogan, lors de leur rencontre en janvier 2020, ont aidé les deux gouvernements à cristalliser les bases de ce partenariat stratégique ainsi que les objectifs fixés à chaque étape de sa mise en œuvre ».
« En dépit des contraintes imposées par la pandémie du Coronavirus, ayant empêché la réalisation de tous les objectifs ambitieux fixés par les deux présidents, je crois qu’il y a des réalisations accomplies, à l’image de celles que visitera mon homologue Cavusoglu demain à Oran », a-t-il ajouté.
Dans le domaine de la politique internationale, M. Lamamra a indiqué avoir passé en revue avec son homologue turc « un certain nombre de questions ayant trait aux crises et aux foyers de tension, au motif que l’Algérie et la Turquie souhaitent apporter des solutions et rapprocher les points de vue entre les parties en conflit, afin d’ouvrir de larges perspectives pour atteindre les objectifs et les principes de la Charte des Nations Unies ».
