L’entreprise chinoise des télécommunications Huawei Algérie a organisé ce lundi à Alger la deuxième édition du Salon de l’  emploi « Job Fair » dédiée aux étudiants de 30 ICT Académies.

Le Salon de l’emploi  « Job Fair » a été lancé par Huawei en Algérie en partenariat avec le ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche scientifique et le ministère de la Poste et des Télécommunications.

Plus de 120 étudiants, certifiés par Huawei et issus des différentes universités du pays, ont pris part à cet évènement qui cible essentiellement les étudiants à la recherche d’un stage ou d’un premier emploi.

Les étudiants ont eu des entretiens directs avec les représentants de Huawei et ses partenaires en Algérie, comme les entreprises STI, M2I, CBS, Sofim, Retelem, Socaram, Orabi, DZIT, Datatools, Hyperdist, Geps, Microtel et ICT Tower.

A cette occasion, le directeur général de Huawei Algérie, Eason YI, a réitéré la volonté de son entreprise de « continuer à assurer ses responsabilités sociales en tant que multinationale installée en Algérie, visant notamment à développer davantage l’écosystème local comme son programme destiné aux jeunes talents Huawei ICT Talent ».

« Huawei s’est engagée à former les étudiants et cadres algériens à travers plusieurs programmes, en l’occurrence les ICT Académies, ICT Compétition, Seeds for the Futur et le Salon de l’Embauche et stages », a-t-il affirmé.

Il a expliqué que Huawei avait créé un écosystème qui permet à l’étudiant de bénéficier d’une formation couronnée par l’obtention d’une certification à travers le programme Huawei ICT Academy, ensuite de participer à une compétition intitulée Huawei ICT Competition, dont l’Algérie a été championne en 2019 et 2020.

L’écosystème Huawei permet aussi aux étudiants de participer au programme Seeds for the Future (graines du future) pour arriver au stade final qui est le recrutement à travers l’organisation du Salon de l’embauche « Job Fair », a expliqué M. Eason YI, devant un parterre de recteurs et directeurs d’universités et écoles, étudiants, et plus de 20 partenaires de Huawei en Algérie.

Par ailleurs, il a été annoncé le lancement de la 3ème édition de Huawei ICT Compétition, dont le nombre de postulants à ce concours « a presque triplé » depuis son lancement en 2018 en Algérie.

Le nombre d’étudiants qui ont postulé à la compétition de Huawei est ainsi passé de 700 en 2018 à près de 2000 étudiants en 2019, a-t-on indiqué auprès de l’entreprise, qui prévoit pour 2021 plus de 5000 participants.
