Laboratoires Frater-Razes Algérie : 15 millions de doses d’anticoagulants fabriquées d’ici la fin de l’année

Les laboratoires pharmaceutiques Frater-Razes vont fabriquer en Algérie, d’ici la fin de l’année en cours, 15 millions de seringues d’anticoagulants utilisés notamment dans le protocole thérapeutique contre la Covid-19, a indiqué ce jeudi  le secrétaire général de ce laboratoire algérien, Abderrahmane Boudiba.

Dans une déclaration à l’agence officielle APS, A. Boudiba a fait savoir que le laboratoire pharmaceutique a également produit durant le premier semestre 2021 un total de 10 millions de doses, ce qui devra porter la production sur l’ensemble de l’année à 25 millions de doses.

« La demande d’anticoagulants hors pandémie de Covid-19 est de 8 millions de seringues/an », a-t-il ajouté précisant que la production actuelle « couvre toute la demande du marché national » à travers l’approvisionnement de la Pharmacie centrale des hôpitaux (PCH) et les officines privées via les grossistes.

S’agissant du médicament produit par Frater-Razes, le Varenox, un biosimilaire de l’Enoxaparine (Lovenox) injectable, M. Boudiba assure que la livraison s’effectue « de manière quotidienne » auprès de la PCH et des grossistes.

Concernant les craintes des patients quant à la disponibilité des anticoagulants, le représentant de Frater-Razes s’est montré rassurant, en saisissant l’occasion pour appeler les prescripteurs à « favoriser la production nationale » par rapport aux anticoagulants importés.

Pour sa part, la responsable de la communication au ministère de l’Industrie pharmaceutique, Nesrine Charikhi, a fait savoir que « le princeps Lovenox est limité alors que le (générique) Varenox produit en Algérie est largement disponible ».

« Certains prescripteurs induisent les patients en erreur alors qu’il s’agit du même principe actif, à savoir l’Enoxaparine », a-t-elle noté, ajoutant que dans le cadre du protocole thérapeutique adopté par le ministère de la Santé, un autre anticoagulant a été inscrit, l’Innohep (Tinzaparine), également « disponible » à travers les différentes structures de santé.

Pour rappel, la chaîne de production du Varenox a été inaugurée en septembre 2020, avec une capacité de production pouvant atteindre 75.000 unités/jour. Un projet qui permettra de « renoncer à l’importation de ce médicament qui coûte plus de 60 millions de dollars/an », selon le ministère de l’Industrie pharmaceutique.

Depuis fin décembre dernier, les anticoagulants, notamment le Lovenox, connaissent des ruptures au niveau des officines, selon des constats sur le terrain, ce qui a amené les citoyens à se les procurer via les réseaux sociaux, notamment les patients qui se sont vus prescrire ces médicaments au titre du traitement contre le Covid-19 qui entraîne un dysfonctionnement de la coagulation.
