La valeur des investissements dans le secteur des hydrocarbures dépassera 39 milliards dollars durant les quatre prochaines années, a annoncé, ce jeudi, le président de la République, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
« L’Etat est déterminé à poursuivre ses efforts en matière d’investissement dans le secteur, la valeur des investissements devant y dépasser 39 milliards dollars durant les quatre prochaines années », a indiqué le Président Tebboune dans une allocution lue en son nom par le Premier ministre, M. Aïmene Benabderrahmane lors d’une cérémonie organisée à Hassi-Messaoud à l’occasion de la célébration du 66e anniversaire de la création de l’Union générale des travailleurs Algériens (UGTA) et du 51e anniversaire de la nationalisation des hydrocarbures.
Le président de la République a affirmé, à cet égard, qu’un taux de 70% de ce montant sera consacré à l’exploration et au développement, notamment l’amélioration des taux de récupération au niveau des champs de Hassi-Messaoud et Hassi R’mel.
L’affectation de ce montant s’inscrit dans le cadre de la démarche visant à « préserver et à renforcer les capacités de production et d’exportation parallèlement à l’intensification des efforts d’exploration, l’amélioration des étapes d’extraction dans les champs de production, la réalisation d’un meilleur fonctionnement, la numérisation, l’application des techniques de pointe et la réduction des coûts », a ajouté le Chef de l’Etat.
A ce propos, le Président Tebboune a mis en avant « l’intérêt particulier » qu’il accordait à la poursuite du renforcement du rôle axial du secteur de l’Energie et des Mines dans la mise en œuvre de la stratégie de l’Etat en matière de relance économique et de transition énergétique, une stratégie visant à accroître nos capacités de production pour répondre aux besoins énergétiques du pays sur les moyen et long termes.
Cet intérêt découle de « notre profonde conviction quant à l’importance majeure que revêt le secteur de l’Energie et des Mines en tant que vecteur de développement des autres secteurs économiques, et d’accélération de la politique de diversification des recettes », a assuré le Président de la République.
Le Président Tebboune a affirmé, dans ce contexte, son attachement à l’impérative poursuite et adaptation au cadre juridique de l’investissement dans les secteurs des hydrocarbures, des mines et des énergies renouvelables en vue d’encourager les investissements et garantir la sécurité énergétique du pays sur le long terme.
Et de rappeler, dans ce sens, que le Gouvernement avait achevé tous les textes d’application relatifs à la loi sur les hydrocarbures et s’attelle actuellement au parachèvement de la mise en place du cadre juridique permettant de relancer l’investissement et faciliter et simplifier les procédures administratives y afférent, et ce, en adéquation avec l’environnement économique actuel et les objectifs de promotion de la destination Algérie en matière d’investissements directs étrangers (IDE), a poursuivi le Président Tebboune.
