Le ministère des Affaires étrangères et de la Communauté nationale à l’étranger vient de  condamner « énergiquement », dans une déclaration rendue publique ce vendredi, « une dérive particulièrement dangereuse » de la représentation diplomatique marocaine à New York, qui a distribué, récemment, au pays membres du Mouvement des Non-Alignés une note officielle dont laquelle le Maroc soutient publiquement et explicitement un prétendu « droit à l’autodétermination du peuple kabyle ».

 « La représentation diplomatique marocaine à New York a fait distribuer à tous les pays membres du Mouvement des Non-Alignés une note officielle dont le contenu consacre formellement l’engagement du Royaume du Maroc dans une campagne hostile à l’Algérie, à travers un soutien public et explicite à un prétendu – droit à l’autodétermination du peuple kabyle- qui, selon ladite note, subirait – la plus longue occupation étrangère-. Cette double assertion vaut reconnaissance de culpabilité en ce qui concerne le soutien marocain multiforme actuellement accordé à un groupe terroriste connu, comme cela a été le cas du soutien aux groupes terroristes qui ont ensanglanté l’Algérie durant la – décennie noire-. », lit-on dans le communiqué du ministère des affaires étrangères.

Le communiqué de la diplomatie algérienne conclura que « Dans la situation ainsi créée par un acte diplomatique douteux commis par un ambassadeur, l’Algérie, République souveraine et indivisible, est en droit d’attendre une clarification de la position définitive du Royaume du Maroc sur cet incident d’une gravité extrême ». »
